  • Waypoint’s founders and shareholders were in growth mode and ready to explore M&A options to continue its path to building scale within the data analytics solutions and consulting services sector.
  • Waypoint selected Solganick & Co. to assist in evaluating and executing its M&A plans after the founders decided that it was the right time to sell the company to a strategic buyer, after interviewing 11 investment banks.

  • Through the transaction, Wipfli’s shareholders and co-founders were able to merge their business with a larger strategic buyer and also maximize cash at close with a very attractive market-driven transaction multiple.
  • The transaction was announced and closed in February 2022.
